What is Mentoring?
Mentoring is a powerful tool aimed at further developing an individual’s competency to become a successful massage therapist.
A mentor can assist you in gaining a new perspective and to help alleviate the stress and anxiety you may be feeling about starting your new career.
As a Massage mentor I want to assist you in attainting the professional acumen you require, by guiding you with all the necessary requirements to give you the opportunity to gain more confidence as well as more understanding in dealing with patient care and the running of a massage business.
Why do I need mentoring?
Even though you have completed your training at a certified massage school you still may not be ready to take the next step in commencing your career path. It may be that you don’t have the right contacts and information to get yourself started, or simply lack the motivation and confidence.
By being mentored you will receive one on one support and encouragement by a qualified experienced massage therapist.
You will also have the opportunity to work in a professional massage practice as a locum for myself on the completion of the Mentoring Program, subject to a locum agreement.
Many qualified massage therapists complete their certification feeling lost and unsure of their direction and sometimes have a feeling of being alone as Massage is a solo business.
Through close contact with a Mentor you will receive feedback as to how you are performing, what your strengths and weaknesses are, and where you may need to improve.
You will have the opportunity to raise any issues as well as learn about marketing skills, gain knowledge and experience that will certainly make you more successful in your professional journey.

About Your Mentor
I am a Qualified Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist, and consult from SPORTSMED.SAas well as privately at Remedial & Therapeutic Massage Services.
When I first started out in the profession back in 1994, there werent many female massage therapists to look upto and learn from. In 1997, I was fortunate enoughf to have met John Stamoulos who has quite a significant amount of knowlede and experience in the industry.
I was one of the first massage therapists to go through his mentoring programm and it changed my life around. Now having 17 years experience myself as a massage therapist and running a very successful business I am now mentoring other massage therapists just starting out in the industry, I can see there is a need for this type of programm especially being a woman and training other women to be the best that they can be.
Are you ready to take that next step from being a massage student to a professional, then I would like to offer you one on one training for a minimum of two months one to two times a week with me as your mentor (at no charge to you). Following will be a locum position offered to you for a minimum of 12 months, I will share with you my knowledge and experience that I have gained over the last 17 years to help you on your journey.
Massage therapists who are RELIABLE, COMMITTED and above all HONEST and DEDICATED who wish to be successful, are encouraged to apply.
