Myofascial Stretch Release

Myofascial stretch release involves targeted stretching techniques aimed at releasing tension with-in the fascia and the connective tissue that surrounds the musculoskeletal system. This method focuses on elongating and loosening the fascial tissue, promoting improved flexibility as well as improving range of motion and reducing pain.

It can be performed through various stretching techniques as well as the use of gliding glass cupping. Myofascial release is particularly beneficial in the treatment of whiplash injuries, headaches and rotator cuff injuries (shoulder).
